Salmon Berry Bird singing; now it really is summer.

If you can't hear this bird in this summer, you're probably not really in the Pacific Northwest woods.

Sounds familiar, we hear that a lot around here. We have a lot of Salmonberry too; one of our daughter's favourites. I think she likes everything that grows wild here.

Bet she likes Thimbleberry, too. It's my favorite, and we have a really nice growth of it along the road to our neighborhood. It's like a cross between roses and raspberries for taste.
