ANIMAL ABUSE OUT IN THE BOONIES

I wonder if it's like the murder described by Doyle; more of it happens because they know they're not being watched. 

Nothing like Facebook to end THAT.  Yes, I'm using a Facebook thread like a forum.

  

It's like the slave-catchers happily running north after that evil Fugitive Slave law, and running into posters with their faces on them and pointing crowds, then running back to the South with their tails between their legs.  

Us nice people are sick and tired of abuse and stupidity -- AND having to clean up the messes.  The weird thing is, bad people HATE to have their badness pointed out.  Perhaps there is a core of good there, that knows better?  As a Nice Person, I can only hope.
